Seriously!?

Let me take a stab at this from a non-edge perspective, but if anyone that IS straight edge would like to add in their 2cents, (or again, tell me I’m wrong) you’re more than welcome.

You’re right, Anon 1, sex ISN’T a part of sxe. You’re allowed to have as much sex as you’d like, with whomever you’d like. I put “promiscuous sex” as a way to sum it up, and I’m sorry that I didn’t elaborate. 

What I’ve gathered from straight edge, is that you’re trying to live free to addiction that alters your life/state of mind. That, to me, includes an addiction to sex. If you’re having sex with multiple partners, none of which you care about, and you’re only using FOR THEIR BODY, then yes, I feel like you’re not being true to the sxe lifestyle. However, if you have a mutual agreement with someone whom you’re not in a relationship with, that you’re going to be having sex and leaving it at that, then more power to you. As long as it’s completely consensual, and no one is being used, then fine. Do it. 

Either way, at the end of the day, your straight edge is not my straight edge, and you can do whatever the fuck you want. I never tried to start a sxe argument, just answering some Anons.
